The work was shown at the Himalayan Art Festival 2022. This work was inspired by the unseen dialogues between myself and the lotus pond at Chhauni. When I was a kid, I used to roam around the Chhauni area, clipping my hands with buba and muma and marveling at the pond full of lotus and the amazing life of various species. I can still feel the emotions evoked by the dancing lotus and its beautiful colours.
The lotus has vanished, leaving only the high army barrack walls with no holes to glimpse the unseen pond and lotus army.
